Just as the title asks... would you buy a bike that has been left outside, uncovered, for the past six months. Ive never run into this before so im going to ask, is there anything like weather damage I should look for? And... would you consider buying a bike that has been left out in the rain, some snow, and freezing temp w/out winterization?

Yes but not after overall inspection of it...was it used during this period of time? Or just sat?
Obviously the sun will have its affect on plastics and will fade the paint. Being wet alot will cause various bolts to corrode.
If it was rode alot during this time I wouldn't be concerned..bikes are made to be used in the rain also..so that wouldnt have much of an effect on them. I would just be more concerned if it sat that long unused.

i would also pull the plastics/seats and look for any animals that may have made a home inside the bike at one point.

i wouldn't. look for another bike. there are plenty out there and if you're patient you'd find what you're looking for.

When I was living on my boat my R6 had to stay outside for about 4 years. I kept it clean and had no problems (cosmetic or mechanical) even after putting 53000 miles on it.

thats fine as long as you are riding it, cleaning it, etc.
But just sitting for months at a time...
that changes things
