"Black Friday" Accident

So, being relatively warm in Minnesota (a balmy 45 degrees), my brother and I decide to go out for a ride to run Sta-Bil through our bikes. Little did I know what was going to happen. We turn onto a main road and my brothers shity Gixxer 6's throttle stuck wide open. His rear tire began to spin and then caught and did a major tank slap to the right. I was right behind when this happened. Cue ambulance, police and the whole jazz. We were all geared up and still, he is in the hospital with cracked ribs and a punctured left lung. Had he not been wearing a helmet, his face would be gone. Just wanted to share this story to let people know that even when your very careful, stuff can still happen. Wear gear, the pros vastly outweigh the cons.

Thanks for the encouragement. He is out of the hospital and doing okay. Although he keeps talking about fixing up his bike, I tell him to fawk the Gixxer and buy an R1.
